Mother Gaia Studio and publisher Critical Leap have brought award-winning time-loop murder mystery The Posthumous Investigation to Nintendo Switch and Android, with the ports live as of this evening’s forge window. A Games Press release dated September 17, 2026 announced Switch + Android “out today”; GamingOnPhone covered the mobile/Switch availability on September 19. iOS remains coming soon / unconfirmed for a firm date — do not invent one.

You play a private investigator hired by an influential entrepreneur who is already dead, with one day to solve the murder before the loop resets — knowledge carries across attempts. Setting: a hand-drawn noir 1937 Rio de Janeiro inspired by Brazilian author Machado de Assis, with 14 suspects, routine manipulation, interrogations, and a Thinking Board to link clues before accusing a culprit.
