Aniimo is live.

Pawprint Studio’s free-to-play creature-catching open-world RPG opened globally on September 16, 2026 for Windows PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox — confirmed in the studio’s own launch bulletin on aniimo.com. The same official post sets mobile (iOS and Android) for September 23, a week behind the PC/console day-one window. Beebom’s same-day coverage matches that split and notes Nintendo Switch 2 is not part of the launch slate.

Pre-regs, rewards, and the “30 million” claim

Polaris Institute / Aniimo’s launch note ties global pre-registration milestones to in-game rewards and states, as of that bulletin, that global pre-registrations have passed 30 million — so launch rewards unlock all four listed tiers (including the limited-edition Sunlit Meadow outfit, a limited Avatar Frame, Aniipod Ultra ×2, and Glimmer ×200). Treat the 30M+ figure as the studio’s official claim in the Sep 16 launch post, not an independently audited third-party count.

Website pre-registrants are also promised a Mysterious Susuta Egg, with additional “Aniimo Together!” team and login rewards listed on the same page.

Shared progress — and possible queues

Official guidance is explicit on cross-device continuity: PC and mobile share the same data. Create a character on PC, then sign into mobile later with the same account and continue where you left off. Beebom separately frames launch as supporting cross-progression and cross-play; the primary bulletin’s hard claim is shared PC↔mobile account data plus cross-platform login rewards.

The studio also front-loaded a patience warning: with so many Pathfinders joining at once, players may hit login queues or slower loading times. Test-server progress does not carry over; eligible test rebates/rewards should be claimed via the official redemption page once live.

What it is (context, not a review)

Beebom positions Aniimo in the Pokémon / Palworld lane — explore the continent of Idyll, catch creatures with Aniipods, and use the Twine mechanic to transform into collected creatures for combat and puzzles, plus competitive Pathfinder battles and a PvPvE “Egg Heist” mode. Treat that feature framing as secondary coverage; availability and dates above are pinned to the official launch bulletin.

As-of: morning September 16, 2026 (2026-09-16 ~8:30 AM CDT (America/Chicago)). Live platforms + Sep 23 mobile + shared PC/mobile data + queue warning + 30M+ pre-reg claim verified against Aniimo’s Sep 16 official newslist post; Beebom used for secondary framing (F2P, Switch 2 absence, Twine / Egg Heist color).
